Responsibilities:

This person will design various structural components including structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, masonry, wood, and foundation systems for our clients. This person will take part in our on-going training program, begin in our mentorship program, and begin a rewarding career at AEI.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills.
  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
  • A working knowledge of Revit is also preferred.

Ambrose Engineering, Inc. (AEI) has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Structural Project Engineer.

Responsibilities:

This person will design various structural components including structural steel, composite steel/concrete, cast-in-place concrete, tilt-up concrete wall panels, masonry, wood, heavy timber, and foundations systems for our clients. Use of their analytical skills, and design experience in various material design and building codes, particularly the IBC, will be needed on a regular basis. As a Structural Engineer at AEI, this person will have the opportunity to communicate with all levels of management, and directly with clientele. This person will also take part in our on-going training program.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
  • Active Professional/Structural Engineering license.
  • 5+ years of experience in the design of building structures.
  • Solid experience in the preparation of structural plans and details for contract drawings is required.
  • Solid experience with structural design software (preferably including RAM Structural System).
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills.
  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD is a requirement.
  • A working knowledge of Revit is also preferred.

Another Successful Grand Opening!

Ambrose Engineering, Inc. provided structural consulting services for 42 new stores with sites stretching from California to Florida. The official grand opening at the beginning of October was a complete success. In addition to Ambrose Engineering providing structural consultant services, these stores have all achieved LEED certification through the U.S. Green Building Council Portfolio Program. Ambrose Engineering, Inc. provided upfront prototype modifications to ensure structural component fabrication and construction would meet the LEED criteria for recyclable content.
